The collection was created by Rivka Lozansky-Bogomolnaya after World War II. It was inherited by Boris Lindla, a nephew of Rivka Lozansky-Bogomolnaya. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum acquired the collection from Boris Lindla in 2003.
