10 reichspfennig [empire penny] coin, with 100 reichspfennig equalling 1 reichsmark, issued for use by the government of the Third Reich, Nazi Germany. From 1940-May 1945, when Germany surrendered, ending World War II in Europe, the coin was struck in zInc as a cost saving measure for the war, in all seven of the Reich mints.

Circular zinc (est.) coin, blackened with corrosion, with a plain edge and raised rim. It is embossed on the front with the Nazi symbol of a right facing eagle holding an enwreathed swastika, and the year. Embossed on the back is the denomination 10 with the mint mark A below, flanked by oak leaves, with German text around the top inner rim.
