The etching was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2013 by the Estate of Doris Rauch.

The mat may be from a different version of the etching (a caption on the mat labels the piece as"Artist's Proof #" while the label on the piece itself says simply"#3" The etching depicts boats in a harbor, along with a dock and buildings including a house. The etching is dated 1955. The artwork is part of a collection of documents, photographs, artifacts and artwork documenting the experiences of Doris Rauch and Norbert Troller (Doris Rauch's uncle) and their families' experiences during the Holocaust.
