Tarnished silver colored metal coin. The front is embossed with an Imperial Eagle with a crown and coat of arms on the chest; to the left and right of the talons is the mint mark, J, for Hamburg, Germany. The back is embossed with a large numeral 5 in the center and German text around the rim.
