Ernst Heumann (b. 1900, Gau Odenheim, Germany, d. 1982, United States) immigrated to the United States in 1924. He helped found the New World Club, a social organization, in the 1920s and served as its third president. The New World Club was concerned with publishing and providing aid to German-Jewish immigrants fleeing Germany. The New World Club published"Aufba" and"International Science"

Contains correspondence and financial reports concerning the publication of Aufbau by the New World Club (also known as the German-Jewish Club), an organization of German Jewish emigrants in New York. Also included are files concerning Aufbau advertising manager, Hans Schleger, and a May 1941 issue of International Science, a publication of the New World Club.
