U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. (Ret.) Jack O. Horton compiled this account, written in the form of a letter, dated 21 Aug. 1990. It contains his recollections of the situation of the Jews liberated at a German airport near Barth, Germany. Horton submitted the letter to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives shortly after writing it.
