The documents were created by the Jewish communities of Prague and Slaný and by German occupation agencies in Hungary during World War II. The photographs were made from originals stored at the Židovské muzeum v Praze (Jewish Museum in Prague) and were used by Todd Brewster for an article in"Lif" magazine and later donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
