This collection contains investigative materials, evidence, and court documents relating to the trial of Josef Bühler, in relation to his role as deputy-governor of the Krakow district of the Generalgouvernement during the German occupation of Poland. Includes trial protocols, interrogations of witnesses, preliminary hearings and presentation of evidence against war criminals.
Arranded in eight series:1. Prosecution files; 2. Hearing records (Days 5-12: June 22 -28, 1948); 3. Records of the operative part and the grounds of the judgment; 4. Evidence; 5. Materials relating to extermination of Jews; 6. Minutes of the hearing of witnesses; 7. Private and official correspondence; 8. Hearing records (Days 1-4: June 17-20, 1948). Records are arranged in the original order of their acquisition from the source archive. The museum has acquired only selected records from Institute of National Remembrance (Instytut Pamięci Narodowej-Komisja Ścigania Zbrodni przeciwko Narodowi Polskiemu, or IPN).
