The collection represents the central records of the Deutsche Bank that were seized by the Soviets at the end of the war. Until 1989 the originals were kept in the East German Central State Archives in Potsdam. In the early 1990s they were filmed and returned to the Historical Archive of the Deutsche Bank (Historisches Archiv der Deutschen Bank) in Frankfurt am Main, from which USHMM acquired them in 2000."@en ;
