United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the papers and manuscripts from Rafael Pijade in January 1998. Rafael Pijade sent the 14 audiotapes in January without a name identifying who they were from. The tapes were identified after Rafael Pijade sent a letter dated April 9, 1998 indicating that he had sent the tapes and had not received a response from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives.
