Consists of one bound memoir, 59 pages, entitled"Paul" by Paula Scwamenau Eisenhammer, originally of Sniatyn. In the memoir, she describes growing up with family in Sniatyn and Kolomyja, life in the Kolomyja ghetto, a failed attempt to escape to Romania, and escaping from a moving deportation train outside of Majdanek. She returned to Kolomyja and obtained Aryan papers. In the fall of 1942, she traveled to Germany as a forced laborer, hiding her Jewish identity. She was liberated in 1945 and was able to emigrate to the United States in January 1947.
