rico:history "United States Holocaust Memorial Museum"@en , "Ernst Tritsch was born in Vienna, Austria on 09 Jan. 1891 to a Jewish family. He attended the University of Vienna for a year, before becoming manager of the currency exchange department of the Laenderbank of Vienna. He was taken into custody on 11 Nov. 1938, following Kristallnacht. He spent four months in Dachau. He and his Jewish wife, Sofie, were able to immigrate to the United States via Switzerland and England. He died of a heart attack on 25 Oct. 1976 in New York. Sophie died on 28 Nov. 1992."@en ;
