Harry Friedman (1893-1961) was born in Austrian Galicia (later Poland, now Ukraine) and immigrated to United States in 1907. He lived in Jersey City with his wife Fannie (1897-1971) and children Augusta, Emanuel, and Rosebel. His family members who remained in Horodenka are assumed to have been killed in the Holocaust.
