Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. Source of acquisition is the Instytut Pamięci Narodowej-Komisja Ścigania Zbrodni przeciwko Narodowi Polskiemu (Institute of National Remembrance-Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation). The Gestapo in Łódz created these records during World War II. The records are now held at the Regional Commission for the Investigation of Nazi War Crimes in Poland, a local branch of the Main Commission in Łódz. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives selected certain files from the collection for microfilming.
