The autobiography was written by Edith Riemer in 1966. A revised copy was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum via Linda Kuzmack. Chapter 3, a postscript to the autobiography, was received by the Museum Archives in Feb. 1992. It was added to the first two chapters received in June 1991 and a revised Donor Agreement for the entire donation was signed by Riemer on 26 Feb. 1992.
