rico:generalDescription "Source of acquisition is the Archives départementales de la Gironde (Departmental Archives of the Gironde), Fond 44 W1- 63; Fond 71 W1-56; and Fond 103W 1-68. This collection was created after the judicial authorities no longer needed the documents and returned them to the Archives, although in some cases, photocopies were returned because the originals were retained. The documents often have page numbers penciled in and are annotated for use in the court.The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the the Departmental Archives of the Gironde via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s International Archives Project in Aug. 2012, accretion in Nov. 2012, and Jan. 2013.
