Source of acquisition is the Yad Vashem. Records originate from the several Hungarian repositories: the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Külügyminisztérium), Hungarian Ministry of Internal Affairs (Belügyminisztérium), Lutheran Church of Pest, Hungarian National Archives (Magyar Országos Levéltár), Gyor-Sopron County Archives, Szegedi Jewish Community (Szegedi Zsidó Hitközség), and Heves County Archives. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 2014.
