In 1941, when the Germans occupied Wilno, she and her family (her parents and her two sisters) were interned in the Wilno ghetto for two years. After the ghetto, they were sent to Poland and Estonia to different camps. One of the camps was Stutthof concentration camp in Poland where Ruth's father and younger sister perished."@en . .
