Detachable lenses used by Hugo Jaeger, one of Hitler's personal photographers before and during World War II (1939-1945). The lenses are part of a collection that highlights the Nazi rise to power leading up to and during the war. The materials include photographic equipment and accessories, 50 color slides, and a leaflet written by Frank R. Eisner entitled"Shadows of the Pas", which describes the slides.

Circular, convex, clear glass lens mounted in a silver-colored, metal ring with a beveled, black-painted inner face and narrow rim. A narrow, raised, ridged band wraps around the midpoint of the exterior sides, with three evenly-spaced, prongs beneath. Fitted to the top of the silver ring is a circular, convex, clear glass lens mounted in a brown-painted, metal ring with a beveled inner face and a narrow, ridged rim. The base has flat sides and three evenly-spaced. Use has worn the paint away on portions of the exterior. Manufacturing information is engraved around the beveled face of both rings.
