United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collection, Gift of Richard Olaf Brunvand Written by Olav Brunvand while imprisoned in Rendburg prison in Germany, circa 1940. Smuggled out of the prison by Hiltgunt Zassenhaus and buried in her garden. In the summer of 1945, Zassenhaus returned the notes to Brunvand. Donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2010 by Richard Brunvand.
