rico:scopeAndContent "Contains three series of original German records identifying inmates of the Langenstein-Zwieberge Concentration Camp, a subcamp of Buchenwald Concentration Camp, for the period April 1944 to April 1945. The first group is a name series, and the other two smaller series consist of cards organized by block (barrack) number to which the inmate was assigned, and occupations or trades to which some of the inmates were assigned within the camp. American forces seized the cards when they liberated and occupied the camp in April 1945. These records are unique in form, as the Germans cut the cards to size from cigarette cartons and recorded the information on the back sides."@en ;
