ehri:biographicalHistory "British barrister John Harcourt Barrington was part of David Maxwell Fyfe’s chambers before World War II and became his junior at the Nuremberg trials. He accompanied Hess from Britain to appear at the Nuremberg court. He worked with Maxwell Fyfe as part of the European Movement and at the Council of Europe in 1949, he drew up the first draft of the European Court of Human Rights. He practiced with David Maxwell Fyfe at 1 Temple Garden Chambers until 1955. He then became a County Court Judge working at Dartford Southwark and Woolwich until 1970 and lived in Kent, England."@en ;
