Presented by The Center for War/Peace Studies. Host: Richard Hudson. Program proposes a"binding triad syste" to deal with international conflicts. Includes a weighted voting system in the General Assembly of the United Nations: 1) one nation, one vote; 2) population; 3) financial contributions. This would allow support from the most nations, the most people, and the greatest economic and political powers in the world. Additionally, the Center proposes binding resolutions in the General Assembly for peacekeeping forces and economic sanctions. Conferences in New York with many diplomats simulated application of the"binding tria" to world problems. The aim was to arrive at politically balanced resolutions for problems at hand. Hudson closes the program reminding viewers that"mutual interest must build a rational global system of decision-making if the world is really going to be able to lay down its arms and have nations coexist under a planetary regime that can offer the world peace and justice"
