Під час розмови присутній правнук оповідачки, який час до часу доповнював розмову своїми запитаннями і роз’ясненнями. Жінка побіжно розповідала про панський маєток і працю місцевих людей, навчання в школі, добре співжиття своєї родини зі сусідами-поляками на тлі українсько-польського конфлікту в селі, польську і єврейську сільські громади, їхні заняття і релігійне життя, вивіз євреїв зі села і переселення місцевих поляків до Польщі, колективізацію та свою працю в колгоспі, розправу над криївкою українського підпілля. Так як в часі війни лінія фронту проходила в Осівцях, родина оповідачки переховувалися поза домом, куди приходила лише переночувати і приготувати їжу, а деякий час навіть жила в іншому місці. Німецька окупація відклалася в пам’яті жінки як непевний час з необґрунтованою жорстокістю німців щодо місцевого населення. Запис було здійснено в Осівцях. The grand grandson of the interviewee was present during the conversation and complemented it with his questions and explanations. The woman recalled briefly the landlord’s manor and the work of local people, education at school, friendly relations of his family with the Polish neighbours at the background of the Ukrainian-Polish conflict in the village, Polish and Jewish village communities, their religious life, the eviction of Jews and the relocation of local Polish population to Poland, the collectivization and his own work on the collective farm, massacre of the Ukrainian underground hideout. When Osivtsi was at the front line, the interviewee’s family were hiding behind the house and entered it only to sleep and to cook; for some time, it even lived in another place.
