In previous years All-Ukrainian Jewish Council was issuing the honorary titles"Righteous of Ukrain" or"Righteous of Babyn Ia" to those Gentiles who rescued the Jews in Ukraine during the Holocaust. 662 such titles were awarded by the Council to citizens of Ukraine. To explore each issue the particular documents, including written statements and testimonies from a person rescued and a person who gave aid were collected. Now they shape a separate collection.
