Колекцію друкованих видань створено 1992 р. на основі оперативного архіву колишнього КГБ УРСР. Містить документи архівних фондів підрозділів Центрального апарату й обласних управлінь СБ України, які втратили оперативне значення, однак становлять науково-історичну цінність.
The collection of printed publications was created in 1992 on the basis of the operative archive of the former KGB UkrSSR. It contains documents of archival funds of departments of the central apparatus and regional branches of the Security Service of Ukraine, which have lost their operational importance, but keep historical and scholarly meaning.

Наявні, зокрема, копії доповідних записок, звітів, оглядів, орієнтувань, аналітичних матеріалів та інших документів про оперативну обстановку в Україні, надзвичайні події, результати проведених оперативно-пошукових заходів, розслідування окремих кримінальних справ; довідники та бібліографічні видання; матеріали про розстріли євреїв в роки Другої світової війни.
Особливе значення має справа № 98"Матеріали щодо розстрілів фашистськими окупантами громадян єврейської національност" (1999-2000, 101 арк.), яка містить підписаний 22 січня 1999 р. заступником голови СБУ В. Пристайком запит до обласних управлінь СБУ надати відомості щодо розстрілів євреїв у областях країни під час Другої світової війни, а також відповіді з управлінь 24 областей та АР Крим.
There are, particularly, copies of memos, reports, reviews, orientations, analytical materials and other documents on the operational situation in Ukraine, emergency events, results of search operations, investigations of individual criminal cases; reference books and bibliographic publications; materials about the shooting of Jews during the Second World War.
Of particular significance is file No. 98"Materials on the killings of Citizens of Jewish Nationality by Nazi Occupier" (1999-2000, 101 pages), which contains an inquiry (signed on January 22, 1999 by the Deputy Head of the SBU V. Pristayko) to the SBU regional departments to submit information on the shooting of Jews in the regions of the country during the Second World War, as well as responses from the departments of the 24 regional branches and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
