From October 1941, he served in the Ukrainian police in Zaporozhye. From January 1942, he served in the political department of the Ukrainian police in Zaporozhye. From May 1942, he worked in the pass and registration office of the police.
He participated in repressions against Soviet patriots, as well as in the baiting and execution of Jews
