rico:history "The Chief Constable's Office of the Rožňava District belonged to the territory of Gemer-Malohont (in Hungarian Gömör-Kishont) County ceded to Hungary according to the first Vienna Arbitration in 1938. The office was headed by the chief constable (főszolgabíró). The Rožňava District included about 30 villages that were inhabited by more than 560 Jews, including Plešivec (Pelsőc) and Jelšava (Jolsva)."@en ;
