The agenda of the Notary Office of Fiľakovo holds records of the local administration in the period between 1888 and 1944, including materials on the Anti-Jewish measures during WWII, the persecution of Jews and the Aryanization of Jewish property in 1944. The archival collection contains the minutes of the town council of Fiľakovo, but researchers might find here also the statistics of the economic-social, national and religious life of the local population. Furthermore, the collection contains documents regarding the activity of the Jewish timber merchant, Samuel Grossmann.
