"After the Second World War, the Jewish community of Stockholm set up various bodies to provide refugees with information on legal matters and to refer them to lawyers if necessary. \r\n\r\nIn early 1948, the Jewish Community of Stockholm established _Byrån för juridisk information_ (the Bureau for Legal Information). It mainly assisted refugees in making restitution claims in Germany and other countries but also answered other legal questions. The Director of the Office was Dr. Jur. Kurt Stillschweig.\r\n\r\nIn May 1947, the community had also set up a department for restitution claims in Poland, _Avdelning för restitutionsanspråk i Polen_ (Polish Restitution Claims Department).
