Hij heeft hierdoor te maken gekregen met de transporten van joden naar Westerbork. Eén transport heeft hij zelf ook gereden. Er wordt in het interview ingegaan op de vraag hoe er moreel met dergelijke transporten werd om gegaan en er is aandacht voor de kennis die er onder de omstanders was. Daarnaast vertelt de geïnterviewde veel over de oorlogsdagen in mei 1940 toen hij vocht bij Albasserdam en Dordrecht. This interviewee was interviewed because he worked at the Dutch Railway company (Nederlandse Spoorwegen) during the war. Through his profession he witnessed the deportation of Jews to Westerbork. In one case he was the train driver. The interviewer asks about the moral dilemmas of these transports and how much people knew or what they were aware of. The interviewee talks at length about the 'war days' in May 1940 (10 May -15 May, 1940) when he fought as a soldier in the Dutch army at Alblasserdam and Dordrecht."@nl ;
