        rico:scopeAndContent    "Harry Dietz is de zoon van Constant Dietz, destijds directeur van de steenfabriek Tienray. In zijn vrije tijd was hij dirigent van o.a. Venlona in Venlo. Harry is de jongste uit een gezin van negen kinderen. Moeder Dietz is twee keer getrouwd, maar was weduwe, toen de oorlog uitbrak. Ze had veel contact met Hanna van de Voort. De familie Dietz gaf onderdak aan het Joodse echtpaar Simon Ratzker en Paula Kaiser en hun zoon Menno Ratzker. Ratzker bleef in zijn orthodoxe kleren rondlopen en dat veroorzaakte wel eens problemen. Zoonlief kreeg dagelijks les in Hebreeuws. Harry heeft hen begeleid naar een nonnenklooster in Lottum toen ze op de vlucht moesten vanwege de razzia in Tienray in de nacht van 31 juli op 1 aug 1944. Korte tijd is er ook een Joods meisje geweest Rebecca Aldewereld (schuilnaam was: Truusje Smits). Zij is bij de razzia opgepakt en na de oorlog teruggekomen. Vlak na de oorlog heeft Dietz een vrij nauwkeurige beschrijving gemaakt over de gebeurtenissen in Tienray. Tijdens het interview leest hij dat voor."@nl ;
