Het Bureau Vorderingen Duitse Weermacht (BVDW) wordt per 1 juni 1942 als zelfstandig bureau opgeheven (Besluit burgemeester van 22 mei 1942). Het bureau is per die datum ondergebracht bij het Gemeentelijk Bureau voor Inkwartiering. Na de bevrijding krijgt dit bureau de naam Bureau Afwikkeling Vorderingen Duitse Weermacht.\n\nHet Bureau Ontruimingen is opgericht op 26 november 1943.\n\nOp 9 augustus 1946 stellen B&W een Regeling werkzaamheden i.v.m. de liquidatie van het Gemeentelijk Bureau voor Inkwartiering vast. Inkwartieringsaangelegenheden betreffende Nederlandse militairen en de afwikkeling van vorderingszaken worden overgenomen door de Afdeling Militaire Zaken van de Secretarie. Het verschaffen van woonruimte wordt overgenomen door de Gemeentelijke Woningdienst. En het verlenen van bemiddeling bij de toewijzing van bedrijfsruimten wordt overgenomen door het Gemeentelijk Bureau voor Handels- en Industriebelangen."@nl ;
