The file is a collection of extracts from several works by Schmitt with comments added by the person doing that compilation. The works mentioned and cited from are: Hugo Preuss (1930), Römischer Katholizismus und politische Form (1925), Politische Theologie (first edition 1922, second edition 1934) and Staat, Bewegung, Volk (1933). The comments state that Schmitt is describing the tactics of political Catholicism in his book mentioned above and, by doing so, provides insight in where he himself is coming from and in his behavior. For example, Schmitt claims a change of principles according to changes in political situations, while keeping one guiding principle all the time: the might of Catholicism. Furthermore, both editions of his"Politische Theologi" are mentioned in the comments and the changes Schmitt made are addressed as being of special importance. Schmitt himself, on the contrary, writes in the foreword to the second edition that there were no changes, apart from some minor abridgements on irrelevant topics. The comment on Schmitt's work points out that these abridgements are mainly parts where the Jew [Erich] Kaufmann is honorably mentioned and affirmatively cited by Schmitt. His former friendship with [Erich] Kaufmann became inconvenient for Schmitt after 1933 and that’s why he made this abridgements in the second edition of his book. Underneath the compilation there are some handwritten notes, which are hardly readable. The part, that could be deciphered, says:"Politische [Rechts?]lehr" (Political [legal?] doctrine),"[?]iedle" ,"Angriffe gegen Schmit", (Attacks against Schmitt), 15.12.36 and"Beweis: anwendba" (Evidence: applicable).
