rico:scopeAndContent "The file contains the typewritten copy of a court judgement issued by the Special Court in Prague in May 1943 against Ottokar Zapotecky (born in Schlan in 1899). He had supported his Jewish friends Marie, Walter and Ruth Levit who decided to hide from their evacuation to a concentration camp by giving them food and shelter and organizing their situation and future perspectives. He was sentenced to death for the findings called “Begünstigung von Reichsfeinden”. The transcript of 60 pages also includes the cases of the co-defendants Ladislaus Diesk, Walter Levit (Jewish), Yvonne Levit (Jewish), Ruth Levit, Helene Steiner, Emilie Steiner, Marianne Golts-Goldlust, Josef Goldschmidt (Jewish), Jarmila Glavina, Erich Machleidt and a few more whose names are partly unreadable."@en ;
