The file contains the verdicts of Josef Pokorny (born on 22 March 1915 in Nymburg) and Anton Stiburek (born on 2 September 1920 in Strekonitz), two men from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia living in Berlin. Pokorny and Stiburek both continuously stole luggage at train stations in Berlin. The defendants committed theft individually as well as part of a gang. Furthermore, Pokorny exploited the blackout to steal rabbits. The items and animals that were stolen were sold to third parties. Stiburek also collected and delivered stolen goods for other people. Both defendants were found guilty of continuous organized crime theft. In addition, Pokorny was convicted of small animal theft. Pokorny and Stiburek were sentenced to death in 1944.
