"Erich Czech (pseudonym: Erich Czech-Jochberg) was an Austrian journalist. In 1930, after moving to Germany, he published an acclaimed biography of Adolf Hitler. As a result, he was courted by the Nazis and wrote a number of other, mainly Nazism favorable books. He got to be a member of the NSDAP but after a time the relations with the party broke down and his books got included in the list of harmful and undesirable writings of the Nazis.
