He reminisces about the writer Woehrle including background and biographical anecdotes. After his father’s death he is offered a “volunteer” position in the parliamentary office of the Social Democrats in the Reichstag and urged to finish his studies. He spent a lot of time in artist coffee houses of Berlin like Romainsches café, Petersurger cafe and Die Lunte, and got entranced by their bohemian life style.
