The file contains four circulars (“Rundschreiben”) by the United Restitution Organization (Frankfurt) ranging between October 1968 and January 1969. The circulars include the following issues: no. 1591, no. 1584, no. 1580, and no. 1581. They mainly deal with recent court judgements made by the German Federal Court (Bundesgerichtshof) on questions of restitution after Nazi persecution, especially regarding juridical regulations and procedures for various health damages due to Nazi persecution. The issues mainly focus on questions of the costs of health treatments and the question of the actual relation between health damages and the experience of persecution. The topics include: „Gesundheitsschaden, hier: Kosten des Heilverfahrens“ and „Gesundheitsschaden“, but also: „Rente für Gesundheitsschaden“, „Gesundheitsschaden, hier: Wechselwirkung verfolgungsbedingter und verfolgungsneutraler Leiden“.
