The file contains four circulars (“Rundschreiben”) by the United Restitution Organization (Frankfurt) ranging between January and April 1968. The circulars include the following issues: no. 1535, no. 1546, no. 1549, and no. 1552. They mainly deal with recent court judgements made by the German Federal Court (Bundesgerichtshof) on questions of restitution after Nazi persecution, especially regarding juridical regulations and proceedings for claims within the Federal law for restitution („Bundesentschädigungsgesetz”), pensions, professional damages and damages to life following Nazi persecution, for example in the ghetto of Czernowitz, and the status of an expelled person. The topics include: „Gesundheitsschaden, hier: Schädigung im Ausland und Angleichung bei deutscher Veranlassung (Fall der Ghettohaft Czernowitz 1941“, „Ausbildungsschaden“, „Vertriebene, hier: Anspruch auf Berufsschaden und „endgültiges Verlassen“ der Vertreibungsgebiete“, „Berufsrente des Unselbständigen, hier: Maßgebliche Kapitalentschädigung“.
