"The file consists of two typewritten reports created by the Foreign Documents Centre of the Imperial War Museum in 1966. They are listing national and regional repositories/archives in the UK and Continental Europe. The main interest of the archives is the history of Nazi Germany, its politics and resistance movements. The first 16 pages long file concentrates on West German repositories including federal archives (Bundesarchiv), state archives of the German federal states, and the Institute for Contemporary History in Munich (Institut für Zeitgeschichte), giving a description of the place and a brief history. The second one lists and describes repositories in various other European countries mainly Holland, Italy and Poland among them the Netherlands State Institue for War Documentation in Amsterdam, the Centre de Documentation Juive in Paris, the High Commission for the Investigation of Crimes in Poland, Warsaw and the Jewish Historical Institute Warsaw."@eng .
