The file is the first part of two files containing documents on the persecution of Jews in the territories of Eastern Europe occupied by Nazi Germany in 1941 and 1942. The documents include the correspondence between the various German representatives of the so-called “Reichskommissariat Ostland” in the occupied territories of the Baltic States and the so-called region of “Weißruthenien”. Their correspondence mainly deals with the organization of the deportation of Jews from Germany to Eastern Europe, as well as with the conflict of competences between members of the SS and the local “Reichskommissar”. Some documents are of poor quality.
