The file contains letters from Kurt Kaul, SS Group leader in Stuttgart, to Robert Wagner, Reichsgovernor in Strasbourg, regarding the execution of nine Polish civilians who were forced laborers in Nazi Germany between April 1941 and January 1942 in the Southern region of Baden in Germany. The letters and reports are part of a folder entitled “Reichsstatthalter in Baden – Elsass / XXII-3-Polizei, Hinrichtungen, Exekutionen”. In his letters to Wagner, Kaul gives details about the Polish civilians, and the date and place of the planned executions. The men were accused of sexual intercourse with women of German Nationality.
