The file contains the typewritten bibliography of books and articles written on the topic of German Nazi concentration camps and prisons published between 1933 and 1963 (“Bibliographie der Konzentrationslager, Zuchthäuser und Haftanstalten des Dritten Reiches”). The bibliography was established by Hans Schwarz, an Austrian born former member of Anti-Nazi groups and himself a former prisoner of the Dachau and the Neuengamme concentration camps. He published the bibliography in 1964 for the sake of Archives, Libraries and Youth organizations. It contains 174 entries of books and articles, most of them are testimonies written by former concentration camp prisoners. The languages reflect their international background: The bibliography contains publications in German, Italian, French, Russian, English, Polish, Czech, and Danish.
