The names of the authors are pseudonyms. “John Saunders” actually refers to Arthur Burch, “Albert Parker” is the pseudonym of George Breitman. The two authors, who are identifying as Trotskyists, see racial discrimination as being part of the Capitalist system. Thus, they see in the establishment of a Socialist society the only possibility to create social and racial equality, and they explain, why other political parties and the Stalinist movement will not be able to abolish discrimination.
