        rico:scopeAndContent       "The file contains the fifth part of documents which show a correspondence between Nazi leaders and German army commanders. The documents vary in leaflets, orders, transcription and letters. This file shows primarily a memorandum to the Führer regarding the fundamental of the cultural situation (Denkschrift an den Führer über das Grundsätzliche der kulturellen Lage), written by Alfred Rosenberg. In his essay on the spiritual and cultural need for organization, Rosenberg presents Hitler his experiences and thoughts so that he can judge or acknowledge them. So the whole German life is to be recorded totalitarian by the NSDAP. It thus represents the spiritual, cultural, political, ideological sovereignty. In order to preserve this sovereignty, the NSDAP is structured in a certain way. For his essay he names three organization, which deal with the nationalistic education of the people: 'Kraft durch Freude', 'Reichskultursenat der Kulturkammer' and 'NS-Kulturgemeinde'. 'Kraft durch Freunde' (Strength Through Joy) is manged superbly by Dr. Ley and should get him the highest recognition. However, Kraft durch Freude is taking on more and more tasks that do not fall within its scope. More and more new offices are emerging. If it goes on like this, a new party is born, Rosenberg says. The organization should again limit itself to its core tasks. Another example, the Reichskultursenat, shows how an organization can remain formless. As they are no representatives of the nationalist worldview. An other example is the NS-Kulturgemeinde (cultural community), which brought together the people who wanted to take part in cultural events. With more than 70,000 enrolled members, who committed themselves to the 10-time participation in concerts and theaters, about one million visitors were guaranteed only in Berlin. The NS-Kulurgemeinde further organized all sorts of cultural events. Without the cultural community, according to Rosenberg, a lot of culture events would have taken place in Germany, and the organizational approach of this organization is not found among the others. In addition, there is an agreement drawn up by Rosenberg, Goebbels and the supervisors of the respective organizations. Also a memorial is attached, which deals with the facilities and position of Reichsluftkorps and Staatsjugend. Again, it is clearly stated that the NSDAP is the leading force, that it gives the impulses, the basic ideas for laws and regulations and that the organizations must follow the world view of the NSDAP. Without these fundamental ideas and leadership in all cultural facilities, the time before the NSDAP would recur and the people would be lost again."@en ;
