They were found guilty of possessing illegal weapons. A former classmate of Georg Javurek called Vitus worked for the illegal communist party from 1940 to 1943. Having been friends since school Vitus sold Georg Javurek a pistol for the low price of only 100 K. As he could not find a proper place to store the gun he collaborated with the codefendant Wenzel Podhola to hide it in his apartment. They were sentenced to death."@en ;
