The file contains a report and summary of the proceedings of the Bern trail and judgement in the criminal case against Silvio Alfredo Schnell and Theodor Fischer, for re-offending against Art. 14 [...] against the trash literature of 10.9.1916. The transcript shows precisely who attended at the the 14th of Mai 1935 the trial, which evidences have been handled in and discussed and on what the accusation was based. In detail the Trial regarding the 'Protocols of the wise man of Zion', the role of the accused ones and the procedure of the trial itself are discussed. Furthermore the content of the 'Protocols' itself has been presented and discussed. Also the three experts have been questioned or their expertise have been used as an evidence. All the expertises had to answer specific questions, given by judge Walter Meyer. While the experts Arthur Baumgarten and C. A. Loosli declared the Protocols of the Elders of Zion as a plagiarism and a forgery produced by helpers of the tsarist Russian Okhrana, anti-Semitic expert Ulrich Fleischhauer claimed that they were genuine but of uncertain authorship, possibly composed by the Jewish author. Eventually, the defendants Theodor Fischer and Silvio Schnell were sentenced by judge Walter Meyer in his verdict, for distribution of publications.
