Zukunft des Rundfunkes
1 electronic resource (17 pages)
This file contains a collection of handwritten notes, reports and newspaper cuttings by Paul Anderson. Two pages can be seen, which show cartoons composed of a heading and a caption. All Cartoons are regarding the after war period in England. The report is relating to the freedom of press and speech. As Anderson argues the 20th century is not imaginable without broadcasts and that is was shown it might be used for the best and the worst regarding influencing the nation. As he puts it, the spoken word reaching out to millions of people listening to the radio might be as dangerous and explosive as a bomb. The problem in those days was not the development of new radio technics anymore but to the prevent fraudulent use. There is unfortunately not a simple answer nor use of it, as he argues.
