From 1928 he was the head of the External Church Relations Office of the German Protestant Church (DEK). Dr. Stahn was working for the 'Reichsministerium for church affairs' (Reichsministerium für die Kirchlichen Angelegenheiten). The topic of the correspondence was a donation of Adolf Hitler for the german evangelical foreign work in Palestine.
